As a new President, new Executive Agency Directors, and a new Congress begin their work, you won't want to miss participating in this year's Legislative and Policy Conference which will take place March 9-11, 2009 at the Churchill Hotel in Washington, DC. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from key policy makers and leaders in the fields of behavioral health and developmental disabilities. We are pleased to announce that Dr.Ron Manderscheid will deliver the keynote address on health reform. Dr. Manderscheid is currently Director, Mental Health and Substance Use Programs, Global Health Sector, of SRA International, Inc. In addition, he is a consultant to the Whole Health Campaign, a large coalition of advocacy organizations - including NACBHDD - seeking to assure that policymakers undderstand that mental health care in integral to health care; and he is working with the Obama Administration on behavioral health issues.
